Sophie Aviles

Last week I was able to photograph Sophie Aviles. I have now photographed the Aviles family engagement session, wedding, and their 1st and 2nd children. I love this family and enjoy hanging out with them each time.

Sophie was born about 7 weeks ago and looks just like her daddy! She is beautiful. At about 6 months we will do another session showing how much she has grown. Below are a few of my favorites.

Ben Robinson - Lifestyle Baby Session

Awhile ago I was able to photograph one of my favorite little guys baby brother. I went over to the Robinsons house where I have been photographing Aaron for the last 2 years to photograph his brand new baby brother Ben. What a cutie. I love this family so much and I love the opportunity to capture their childrens lives. Below are some of my favorites from the session.

Aaron showing his brother how much he loves him.

Another big brother kiss.

Look at those beautiful eyes.
I love seeing how big Aaron is getting.

I LOVE this shot of Damon with Ben.

Little Baby Feet.
Aaron is such a goof ball... he was having so much fun in his crib.

And look at his excitement on his horse... he LOVES horse.
A Horsey Kiss...
A little pout.. I love this picture.

Sleepy little baby.

And Little Hands.
I was so happy to be able to take a shot of me and Aaron. This kid has stolen my heart. Other than my nephews this is my favorite little guy. I have loved seeing him grow up everytime I see him.
Thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful family!

Show that Belly....

The 10 months before a baby is born is probably one of the craziest times in a womans life. The transformation that takes place is phenominal... the glow from a woman is unlike no other... the emotions are at a complete high... the feeling of being a mother is sometimes scary, but also exciting.

This time must be captured because from what I hear there is nothing like it.

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity from one of my past bride and grooms to capture the last stages of their pregnancy. Anytime now they will have a little one running around but during this time everything was still unknown.

I showed up at their house excited to see them. I love being able to photograph the most important times in peoples lives and especially clients who I was able to do their weddings. It is such a joy to me to see their family start to grow.

Becca was glowing and gorgeous. We got some amazing shots. Enjoy.. and get ready for more because we have 3 more sessions to do of their new little one when he/she is born so you will be able to see the entire story unfold.

Aidan and Liam Joiner

When I talk about how important it is to do my Baby's First Year package it's because I know. I understand how much kids change within a year... within a week. Everytime I go to see my nephews (which is at least once a week) they have changed so much and are doing things that i've never seen them do.

About a month and a half ago my sister and I were walking every afternoon with the boys. It was great. We would stop by a little park on the way home and let the boys crawl and roam free. They loved it. They were both crawling and it was a new experience. So I decided to do some pictures the next day, which became their 11 month portrait session.

I've had them sitting on my computer for a month or so because I have been so slammed, but last night I stayed up to try to get them up because the next pictures to show you are their 1 Year Birthday party which was last weekend... they grow too fast.

These are some of my favorite pictures ever, probably because I know these kids, I know how within a month they both started walking so they are now at a completely different stage in life, and I know how their personalities are so different than each other, so the little faces, pouts, and stealing of the cell phone very much screams Aidan and Liam. I love these little boys and I'm so glad that I have these pictures that I am going to blow up and plaster along all my walls.

The First year is so important and this is why.

This is my favorite shot of Liam.

Such a happy boy. (Liam)

And then the funky face (Still Liam)

And then the joyful face because daddy is hanging him upside down and sees my camera (Liam)

I Love this family shot. The boys with dad and mom in the background.

Aidan with a little pose.

This is my favorite Series. They both love the cell phone so Mom gave them the phone. At the early stages of life we thought Aidan would be the calm one and Liam would be the crazy child.. well now Aidan is the one who wants everything and takes it and pouts and bullies his way to getting it and Liam just goes and finds another toy. What a picture that shows their personalities!

Wanting Moms Attention

Aidan is such a wonderful child. Both of these kids have so much joy and I love it when Aidan is smiling and being a cutie.

Another very cute face (Aidan)

My favorite of Aidan.. not sure why but i'm blowing this up and hanging it on my wall.

So excited that he got the cell phone again (Aidan)

Trying to figure out what to do now (Aidan)

A very cute Liam Crunch

And another one of my favorites (Liam)

I have so many more pictures to show you! We just did Aiden DeWall's 9 month pictures last week so those are to come too! I'll put comparisons from his 4wk pictures as well.

I love you Aidan and Liam!! You make me have so much joy!

My Nephews

I apologize. I've been trying to blog every day, but yesterday I just totally blanked with doing it.. so tonight I stayed up a little later to post some great pictures of my adorable nephews.

I have to admit... I am biased. I love my nephews with everything in me. Whenever I get around them I just want to hug them and kiss them and take lots of pictures of them. They are hams... they love the camera.

The other night they came over to my house for a bit and as they were being their cute little selves my sister said, "Kim, where is your camera?". I had gotten so caught up in their cuteness I forgot to take pictures of it. So, I ran upstairs and grabbed my camera in time to get the cute little guys doing cute little things.

Below are some of my favorites!! Aren't they cuties?

Baby Alex

Do you all remember this guy? We took this picture of Alex about 6 months ago when he was 4 weeks old! He is the baby of Robin and Manuel. I photographed their wedding over a year ago and I love that I get to be a part of their lives photographing their babies!!

Well a few weeks ago I was able to go back and take his 7 month pictures. He has grown up and changed so much since then already. This kid is so cute and happy. I love this part of my job!! And I found out that Robin is expecting again so congratulations!!!

Alex has the greatest and cutest smiles!

Finding his toes!

I love this hat!

Playtime!

We took alex outside because he loves being outside!!

Meal time!

Nap time!

We were able to get through all that Alex does in a day. We even got bath time! What a wonderful thing for Robin and Manuel to have... the memories of what they did with Alex at this time in his life.

If you are intersted in baby lifestyle pictures just give us a call or shoot us an email. We would love to do them for you!

Baby's First Year

I got a call about 4 months ago from one of my Bride's. She was pregnant and they were expecting a little boy!! She wanted to sign up for my Baby's first year package, which includes a maternity shoot and 3 other sessions throughout the baby's first year at key points in their lives. This is lifestyle portraiture, so it is in the baby's environment and will show the life of the baby.

This is such a fun thing to document!! And I love it because I really get to know the baby!

Well about 2 months ago we did Robins maternity shoot and then yesterday we did Alexandars first baby session. He is 4 weeks old now and such a beautiful baby. Below are some of the pictures that we got!!

Today I get to do another one of my brides maternity shoot! I love it when I get to do this for couples where I have photographed their wedding! There is a connection there and it makes it a lot of fun!!! I can't wait!

Catching up

Well... We've been working really hard and are starting to finally catch up! Praise God!

Today i've been working on weddings, engagement sessions and baby pictures!

I have been able to do "A year in the life of" pictures for Aaron. We have done 3 sessions so far! This was one of my favorites. He's now at the age where he is walking around and doing his own thing. This little guy is so independent. During the entire shoot all he wanted to play with was the wood chips. He wanted nothing to do with any of his toys! It's so funny because his personality is really coming out! Everytime I go over to the house he has changed so much; and that is why we are doing these pictures!!

Here are a few of my favorites:

6 Months Old

We just had a great weekend with some friends of ours from California. They came to visit us with their precious baby Elizabeth Joy Kazas. Some of you might remember that I took newborn pictures of her about 6 months ago... here are some of those pictures.

Well, she has grown sooooo much and is so adorable. I had such a great time with her. Of course I had to take more pictures of her. We took so many, but here are two of my favorite. I love this age!
