Away in the Pines!!

Well Jamie and I are enjoying a much needed vacation out of the heat. Right now we are in my hometown of Pinetop, AZ enjoying the weather and grabbing a few rounds of golf! The life!!!

If you need to get ahold of me I am trying to check email at least once every couple of days. I might take a little time to get back to you so please bear with us!! We will be back in the office on the 9th and will be answering voicemails and emails at that time! Please enjoy your 4th of July!!!

Me:):) It's my birthday today and it was good. Tonight I went to an Arizona Weddings Party and saw the new magazine.. I have tons of pictures in it and i'm so excited. I'll try to post some pictures later! Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday.. it was great!!!

Friends

It is so amazing to find out what friends from long ago are doing. I just found a friend through Myspace, Spencer Day, who was always an amazing singer. Now he has a couple of CD's out and a music video. I grew up in a small town, so it is really neat to see how many people are doing awesome things with their lives!!

My Nephews

I apologize. I've been trying to blog every day, but yesterday I just totally blanked with doing it.. so tonight I stayed up a little later to post some great pictures of my adorable nephews.

I have to admit... I am biased. I love my nephews with everything in me. Whenever I get around them I just want to hug them and kiss them and take lots of pictures of them. They are hams... they love the camera.

The other night they came over to my house for a bit and as they were being their cute little selves my sister said, "Kim, where is your camera?". I had gotten so caught up in their cuteness I forgot to take pictures of it. So, I ran upstairs and grabbed my camera in time to get the cute little guys doing cute little things.

Little Ones

I just got done color correcting the pictures for Matthew's first photo session with me. Louisa, one of my first brides, called about 3 weeks ago wondering if I did baby photos. Of course I said "YES"!!! So I went over to their house and took Matthews 4 Month baby pictures and they turned out great!! What a cute kid. He did such a great job. Below are a few of my favorites.

I'm in Gods Country!!!

Well this last week my husband and I went on a week vacation with my grandparents to Oregon. We have had a blast! I took my camera and have gotten some beautiful scenery shots!! I have a couple to tease you with and more will be coming later when I have a chance to post again!


This was taken at an overlook to show the beautiful scenery of the columbia river. Around this area we stopped at Multnomah Falls, a fish hatchery, and a really neat Dam.


I saw this sign on a tree at a rest stop and I thought it was cool!!

We are now on the Coast of Oregon and i'm hoping to get some gorgeous shots of the Oregon Coast!! We will see; i'm having so much fun sometimes I forget to take pictures!!

Gotta Have Some Fun!!!

Well we've been working hard over here at MAP; however, you gotta have some fun every once in a while!!!

Last week a bunch of photographers met together to have some fun... what did we do you ask? Well we bowled... yes my friends... we bowled. Now imagine this... a bunch of photogaphers bowling... camera's everywhere... competition brewing... the heat was on... and we had a blast.

Seriously cameras were everywhere... noone could keep track of their own. Unfortunatly I did not bring my camera with me because I was coming back from out of town and didn't have a chance to go get it, but of course all of my wonderful friends took lots of pictures and I will share some of those with you! Are you ready?

Well the team I was on was kicking a lot of booty... we were all pretty hot, so we jumped in for a team cheer and the other side (JT and Rebecca) tried to sabotage our cheer with loser signs.



Look at that form baby... my husband would be so proud (now only if I could have actually gotten strikes out of it)!



Melissa got a little frustrated with that one... very expressive:):)

Well I had a blast. It's good to get out and have some fun, and I am so blessed to have some amazing friends in this industry who really help me grow as a photographer! Thanks all!!! I had a blast!

I'm an aunt times 2!!!

I'm an aunt!!! As of May 1st, 2006 I am the proud aunt of 2 baby boys!!! Liam and Aidan! I have been at the hospital for the last 2 days with my sister and the babies are amazing! These are the first babies in the family so it is a special treat that we got 2!

I was able to go into the room with them while my sister had her C-section, so I got some amazing photos!!

New Years 2006

I had a great New Years! Jamie and I spent New Years at our good friend, Rose's house with a bunch of friends.. We had some crazy people from up North who actually jumped into the pool! Then we partied until 4:00 in the morning playing Settlers of Catan.. yea, we are addicted!! Happy 2006!!
