Tracy and Fred at the Royal Palms

I average about 1 wedding a year at the Royal Palms and I love it. Jamie and I always say how we need to get away for a weekend and stay here because it really is so beautiful and relaxing.

Well yesterday I was so excited to go back to the Royal Palms and photograph Tracy and Fred's wedding. I have been looking forward to this wedding for quite some time now.. I truly had my dream team of Vendors to work with and I loved it! Karen Tyler, from Tylers Custom Designs did the flowers, Sarah SanMarco did the makeup, Ashley Stone with Something Blue Events was the wedding coordinator and ROCKED!!! And then we had my favorite DJ, Adrian with SKM Entertainment. I love knowing all the vendors and working with fabulous people because the day seriously went without a hitch!

Tracy and Fred are such a cute couple. I photographed their engagement session at the Phoenix Zoo and really got to know them while we walked around. He is from France and his family came out to the wedding and couldn't speak any english.. only French!! They are so in love and so cute!

Get ready because there are a ton of pictures... we had a blast!

This card was from one of her friends who flew in. When Tracy saw me taking a picture of this she got a huge grin and said that the card really meant a lot to her.

Tracy had the date of the wedding sewn into her dress. What a great idea!

Tracy was GORGEOUS!!!

They choose to see each other before and i'm so glad!

I loved Fred's reaction to seeing her.

We then walked around the place and got some great shots.

Instead of having a huge wedding pary, Tracy just invited all of her girlfriends to come and take pictures with her and hang out with her all day! It was a really creative idea. Having family and friends around was really important for both Tracy and Fred.

The Guest book was very different as well. The Royal Palms has a book that they sell about the history of the place. Tracy and Fred choose to use the book as a guest book for everyone to sign.

A kiss for Daddy!

I'm a sucker for tears, at least that's what Tracy says, and it's true. I love this shot of her wiping her tear away during the ceremony.

After the Ceremony they wanted some private time in a cute courtyard and we got some great pictures of that as well.

You both are such a beautiful couple. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. I had such a wonderful time!

Daisy and Jon

We have been so busy again lately.. it seems like we can never catch up! But we wanted to share with you one of the weddings we photographed this weekend.

Daisy and Jon got married at Terravita Country Club in Scottsdale on Saturday. It was a wonderful wedding and Daisy looked stunning. I love working at Terravita, it is a private club, but it is gorgeous and some of my favorite pictures have come from there. Malcom and his staff are wonderful to work with as well.

I also had fun using light differently than I ever had. The dress and the shoe shot are lit up and I love how they turned out.

The girls got ready in the Womens Locker room, which was suprisingly large!! Large rooms are great for pictures!

I think this is my favorite picture of Daisy!

And she looks so elegant here!

The Rings!!

This is one of my favorite trees ever! It's actually the same tree that is on my business cards, but it looks different with leaves on it! I think this with the sky is so dramatic!

One of the 3 ring bearers!!

The Guys

The happy couple married!!

The gorgeous girls.

Thanks you two! I had such a wonderful day! It was a great wedding!

Carissa and Bryan

Yesterday Carissa and Bryan got married at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Phoenix. They got ready at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch, which is an amazing resort. And the reception was at the Camelback Golf Club, which I love!! We traveled around a lot between all the 3 locations, but it was so much fun!

I have had so much fun getting to know Carissa, she is such a sweet girl! Her style for the wedding was awesome. She wore a beautiful dress with a very uniqe style and all her girls wore different black dresses, but looked amazing.

I was also excited because I got to work with Bings Floral, who did an AMAZING job on the reception room, and Nesbitt Video, one of my favorite videographers, and The Aaron Nelson Project, a live band that is by far my favorite around (if you haven't heard them, find the next club they will be at and go!!).

I love working with amazing vendors, because I know the day is going to be smooth and beautiful, which is exactaly what it should be!!

So, below are some of the amazing pictures of Carissa and Bryan.. they truly are a wonderful couple and I was so blessed to be a part of their day!! You guys are amazing.

The need of a Wedding Planner and Invitation Lady

My friend Liene (An amazing Wedding Planner, who I highly recomend) just blogged about invitations for your wedding. I thought it was great especially since she recomends an amazing Invitation Person, so enjoy the commercial... read what she wrote, and then check out the links to The Invitation Lady and Blue Orchid Designs.

From Liene's Blog...
---

I do not recommend printing invitations at home. Unless you have the patience of a saint or a printing background, it will be a bigger headache than it's worth. People usually end up spending more because of all the unforeseen problems than if they had just gotten them done professionally in the first place. That being said, this is a funny commercial:

Congratulations to Melissa and Todd! Their wedding was on Sunday and was gorgeous. They looked like Calvin Klein models and everyone at the wedding commented that the pictures looked straight out of an ad. They were a lot of fun to work with... it was a small wedding so I got to know a lot of the people. What a fun crowd! The reception was gorgeous.. small and intimate. Tyler's Custom Designs did the flowers and they were stunning! She does a great job for anyone interested in a florist.

Well here are some of the pictures from Sunday!! Congratulations Melissa and Todd!
