Tiffany and Kurt

Tiffany called me up about 3 weeks ago and told me that she was having a small wedding at the Hilton Mesa on a Thursday and was hoping I could come out for a bit and take some pictures of her and Kurt. They have been engagement for awhile now but decided about 3 weeks ago that they just wanted to have a small wedding with their parents and do it fast... so yesterday I went out and met them to take pictures of the ceremony and some pictures of the two of them.

I was also able to see one of my favorite make up artists, Deanna, and a wonderful Minister Sandi Miller with Ever After Events. I love seeing vendors that I know and recommend!!

We had a blast and I love how all the pictures turned out! What a beautiful couple!

This is Tiffany's little girl, a complete doll!!

7/7/07 - Gorgeous Wedding in Minnesota

I just finished shooting a wedding on 7/7/07. As I said, Preston Palmer, the brother of one of my brides asked me to come up to Minneapolis and shoot a wedding with him. I had a great time hanging out with the bride; she was beautiful inside and out. The wedding was so much fun and was quite the production. Eric, the groom, is a production guru and owns his own production company. The ceremony showed how good he really is; it was gorgeous with white linens hanging down everywhere. They had lighting equipment, sound guys, an entire video crew, and it was phenominal. It was so fun going to the mall to get Crystals makeup done because she had a microphone on and a video guy and photographer hanging around her the entire time. People all over were wondering who this famous person was.. she was living it up!!!

Below are some of my favorites from the day.

The wedding was at the Crown Plaza in downtown.

Crystal had so much fun; she laughed the entire time getting ready and told some great stories of how they met and the proposal. Really it was amazing.

We went to the MAC store in the mall to get makeup done. She looked phenominal.

One of my favorite parts of the day are the portraits of the bride and the groom; especially if they let me do whatever I want! Crystal and Eric were up for anything!

Isn't she GORGEOUS?

Eric looked handsome as well.

Crystal was a hoot! She has so much energy and had so much fun with the camera.

This picture is HAWT! I showed it to them after we took it and they were so excited!

Cyrstal wanted to show off her garter. It was her something blue.

The last few weddings I have been doing a lot of fun things with light during the reception. This is one example. They are gorgeously lit and you can see the crowd in the back. I love lighting.
This is one of my favorite first dance pictures.

The reception was fun; everyone laughed, danced, and had a blast.

Now for the funnest part of the day. After the reception Eric and Crystal wanted to jump in the fountain and get some fun pictures. She got soaked, but had a blast doing it and we got some really fun pictures out of it!

Thanks Preston for inviting me up there; I had a great time. Crystal and Eric, you are an amazing couple and I pray for Gods best for you! You are going to do powerful things together; change that world!!!

Carrine and Michael

Saturday I had a very special wedding. My sister's best friend Carrine got married and she asked if I would be their photographer. I was thrilled because I did not want to miss this wedding. Carrine has been such an important part of my sisters life which makes her part of the family!

The Wedding was in my hometown of Pinetop, AZ. I love being able to go back and take pictures in Pinetop because there is so much beauty there! I have such a great time going home. I have now done 1 wedding a year there, but am hoping to do more.. so if you know of anyone getting married in the mountains, just let them know I LOVE taking pictures up there!

Things have changed so much on the mountain since I lived there and some of the changes are very good.. such as a new Salon that does amazing work and is totally hip and urban.. it is called "Urban Bliss" and is where the girls got ready. If you are in the White Mountain Area you have to check out this new Salon.

Carrine is one of the most beautiful people inside and out. I'm so glad she choose to have someone pamper her and do her hair and makeup. She looked Gorgeous and had so much fun getting pampered.

As I said, the Ceremony and Reception were at Torreon Golf Resort. It was beautiful.
The dress was beautiful!
We caught this moment of Carrine about to get ready.
And of course you can't forget all the details... the pearl bracelet that her Grandmother gave her to wear.
Carrine getting dressed with the help of all the girls. The girl in the back middle is my wonderful sister (The Maid of Honor).
Carrine's beautiful rings.

My sis is the one next to Carrine... aren't they gorgeous girls?
Carrine radiated the entire day!! Beautiful!
The Guys!!!

The handsome Groom, Michael.
Of Course, I can not leave my nephew out of this whole mix of pictures. My family was invited to the wedding, which was crazy because I've never done a wedding with so many people I know. Of course it was hard not taking a ton of pictures of my nephews.. but I did good. But this is little Aidan in his tux.. and he was adorable. More pictures are below of both of the boys!
The official Ring Bearer and Flower girls... so cute.

Their Dad had to help them pick up the flowers because they wouldn't go any farther because they dumped out all the flowers alredy.. what a great father/daughter moment.

Carrine had her brother walk her down the aisle and it was a very special time for both of them.
The older brother giving his sister away.

A very fun wedding party.

Something very neat about this day was the fact that it was supposed to rain the entire day, but it didn't. The day before it rained and were so scared that we weren't going to be able to get pictures outside, but God is good.. and the rain didn't come until all the pictures were done and we were inside partying at the reception.. we just had gorgeous clouds to get great pictures.

At the reception there were a TON of kids and they all played on the dance floor. I have to show some of these pictures because I was so proud of my twin 1 year old nephews who got out and partied with all the other kids...Below is Aidan.
And this is Liam.
This is my wonderful mother with Aidan.
And because I never get to share pictures with all of you of my parents I thought I would end with this picture of my amazing mother and father dancing together. I love you guys.

Carrine and Michael... you two are truly a blessing and I can see God in your lives and pray that you will continue to seek him in your marriage!! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful day! I'm looking forward to so much more time spent with you both. Congratulations!!

Tracy and Fred at the Royal Palms

I average about 1 wedding a year at the Royal Palms and I love it. Jamie and I always say how we need to get away for a weekend and stay here because it really is so beautiful and relaxing.

Well yesterday I was so excited to go back to the Royal Palms and photograph Tracy and Fred's wedding. I have been looking forward to this wedding for quite some time now.. I truly had my dream team of Vendors to work with and I loved it! Karen Tyler, from Tylers Custom Designs did the flowers, Sarah SanMarco did the makeup, Ashley Stone with Something Blue Events was the wedding coordinator and ROCKED!!! And then we had my favorite DJ, Adrian with SKM Entertainment. I love knowing all the vendors and working with fabulous people because the day seriously went without a hitch!

Tracy and Fred are such a cute couple. I photographed their engagement session at the Phoenix Zoo and really got to know them while we walked around. He is from France and his family came out to the wedding and couldn't speak any english.. only French!! They are so in love and so cute!

Get ready because there are a ton of pictures... we had a blast!

This card was from one of her friends who flew in. When Tracy saw me taking a picture of this she got a huge grin and said that the card really meant a lot to her.

Tracy had the date of the wedding sewn into her dress. What a great idea!

Tracy was GORGEOUS!!!

They choose to see each other before and i'm so glad!

I loved Fred's reaction to seeing her.

We then walked around the place and got some great shots.

Instead of having a huge wedding pary, Tracy just invited all of her girlfriends to come and take pictures with her and hang out with her all day! It was a really creative idea. Having family and friends around was really important for both Tracy and Fred.

The Guest book was very different as well. The Royal Palms has a book that they sell about the history of the place. Tracy and Fred choose to use the book as a guest book for everyone to sign.

A kiss for Daddy!

I'm a sucker for tears, at least that's what Tracy says, and it's true. I love this shot of her wiping her tear away during the ceremony.

After the Ceremony they wanted some private time in a cute courtyard and we got some great pictures of that as well.

You both are such a beautiful couple. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. I had such a wonderful time!

Jenn and Tim

About a month ago I got a call from Jen asking if I was still available on April 22nd to photograph a wedding at the Four Seasons. I was, and we talked about all the details I would need to know about the event. It was small, intimate, and going to be gorgeous. She sent me a layout of the ceremony and how the entire event was going to be laid out.

When I got to the Four Seasons on Sunday I was able to see her vision and it was beautiful. I had never met either Jenn or Tim, so it was fun meeting them for the first time. The wedding was beautiful and the pictures turned out great.

Again, we played with lighting for this shot and I love how it turned out.

The Rings are a very interesting story. Neither of them had seen their ring. Each couple picked out the ring and then when they were exchanging rings for the first time they saw it. It was a great moment when Jenn saw the gorgeous ring that Tim picked out for her.. I mean look at it below it it gorgeous!

Getting Ready.

Beautiful portrait of Jenn.
The Grandmother kept asking me not to take her picture and to practice on someone else... but I wasn't practicing and she was a gorgeous lady. This is right before the ceremony. Isn't she beautiful!

Very cute Ringbearer.

Jenn looked beautiful.

We then went out and did some portraits of them. Aren't they cute?

At the reception I saw tims' brother and girlfriend sneaking a few laughs together and we caught this cute moment!

The First dance. What an amazing setting for the first dance, don't you agree.

Thank you both. I had such a great time with you! I hope you had an amazing honeymoon!!

Daisy and Jon

We have been so busy again lately.. it seems like we can never catch up! But we wanted to share with you one of the weddings we photographed this weekend.

Daisy and Jon got married at Terravita Country Club in Scottsdale on Saturday. It was a wonderful wedding and Daisy looked stunning. I love working at Terravita, it is a private club, but it is gorgeous and some of my favorite pictures have come from there. Malcom and his staff are wonderful to work with as well.

I also had fun using light differently than I ever had. The dress and the shoe shot are lit up and I love how they turned out.

The girls got ready in the Womens Locker room, which was suprisingly large!! Large rooms are great for pictures!

I think this is my favorite picture of Daisy!

And she looks so elegant here!

The Rings!!

This is one of my favorite trees ever! It's actually the same tree that is on my business cards, but it looks different with leaves on it! I think this with the sky is so dramatic!

One of the 3 ring bearers!!

The Guys

The happy couple married!!

The gorgeous girls.

Thanks you two! I had such a wonderful day! It was a great wedding!

Carissa and Bryan

Yesterday Carissa and Bryan got married at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Phoenix. They got ready at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch, which is an amazing resort. And the reception was at the Camelback Golf Club, which I love!! We traveled around a lot between all the 3 locations, but it was so much fun!

I have had so much fun getting to know Carissa, she is such a sweet girl! Her style for the wedding was awesome. She wore a beautiful dress with a very uniqe style and all her girls wore different black dresses, but looked amazing.

I was also excited because I got to work with Bings Floral, who did an AMAZING job on the reception room, and Nesbitt Video, one of my favorite videographers, and The Aaron Nelson Project, a live band that is by far my favorite around (if you haven't heard them, find the next club they will be at and go!!).

I love working with amazing vendors, because I know the day is going to be smooth and beautiful, which is exactaly what it should be!!

So, below are some of the amazing pictures of Carissa and Bryan.. they truly are a wonderful couple and I was so blessed to be a part of their day!! You guys are amazing.

Krista and Nate

What a week we have had.. we have been so crazy busy shooting sessions and yesterday, yes a thursday, we had a wedding.

I've been really excited about this wedding for awile now. Krista contacted me awhile ago saying she had to have me for her wedding, but that it was very small and on a Thursday... the day does not matter to me, so I was thrilled to do her wedding. She then came out and visited Arizona to check out places and meet with me; we hit it off and it just continued to make me excited for the big day.

Yesterday was a little windy, but gorgeous and you can't beat the location of The Four Seasons Troon North. The wedding was small, just family came, which consisted of 2 sisters, a brother, parents, and lots of wonderful children.

We got a ton of great pictures.

The mother of the Bride and mother of the groom helping Krista put her dress on.

Krista and Nate choose to see each other before the wedding and they were so glad they did! Krista started crying.. she didn't think it would be that emotional.. but this time before the wedding always is:).

We wandered all around and took some great pictures of the two of them.

Lots of kids.. there were 3 flowergirls and 1 Junior Bridesmaid. All very cute!

During the Ceremony.

Everyone then shared in with champagne and a toast.

Thanks everyone. I had a wonderful time yesterday! Enjoy the beautiful weather!!

Melissa and Rick

As you all know, I am in Austin and leave tomorrow morning.

The long awaited pictures of Melissa and Rick are finally here! Yesterday I photographed Melissa and Ricks wedding. The wedding was GORGEOUS!! Taken place at a mansion in Austin, TX, Melissa and Rick were married outside in the front yard. The house was beautiful, but nothing in comparison to Melissa. She was stunning!

Melissa is a good friend of mine and it was so amazing to meet her now husband Rick. They are so in love and it shows. What a wonderful couple, inside and out.

Below are some of my favorites from the wedding. Coming soon are day after pictures. Melissa and Rick met me this afternoon to take some amazing sexy pictures and I promise you will want to see them, they are HOT!!!
